Joel Schellhase
Owner, Co-Founder
Joel has been helping commercial customers solve problems for 20 years alongside his high school friend and business partner, Joe Daschbach. Driven by a passion for helping people maximize spaces as a means to finding order and balance in life, Joel and Joe turned down an opportunity to take over an existing closet company so he could build his own. Starting on a shoestring budget and with a minimal staff, the company that would become Reveal grew quickly due to the quality of work and the customer service Joel and Joe provided. To this day, Joel is most proud of the connections he’s been fortunate to make and the excitement he sees in people when they begin to understand what’s possible with Reveal.
Joe Daschbach
Owner, Co-Founder
Joe grew up in the Midwest with 7 brothers and sisters, and spent his summers on the production floors of his father’s industrial manufacturing facilities. A DIY’er by blood and at heart, Joe put himself through college running a crew that built swimming pools and decks while working as a machinist during the school year. After obtaining an (unused) degree in history, Joe traveled the country on his motorcycle before finally landing in Chicago, where he apprenticed under a master cabinet maker. It was right around that time when his high school buddy Joel moved to Chicago, and the moment was right to launch their own cabinet company. Twenty years later, Reveal’s success continues to grow on the foundation of quality and service that was there from day one.
